About Us

Willamette University's Public Interest Law Project is a student-run group with the mission to educate future lawyers about the opportunities and need for involvement in public interest law. WUPILP strives to provide law students with opportunities to work in public interest through our Fellowship Program. Thanks to our donors, each summer WUPILP funds law students in their unpaid public interest legal internships. Our Fellows have worked at organizations such as Catholic Charities, Legal Aid of Oregon, Immigration Counseling Services, and the county public defenders office.
