WUPILP is a student run organization with a mission to educate future lawyers about the opportunities, rewards, and need for involvement in public interest law. Public interest law covers a wide spectrum of traditional legal practice and covers non-profit and governmental work.

WUPILP strives to provide law students with opportunities to work in the public interest field through our Summer Fellowship Program. Each summer WUPILP funds fellowships through various fundraising events, including our Bid for Justice Auction. Past fellows have worked with county public defenders office, legal aid, Catholic Charities, Mercy Corps, and numerous other organizations.
